Any person interested in the purposes and objectives of PAECT may become a member upon the payment of dues as provided for in the by-laws for classes of membership as determined by the Board of Directors.
The determination of policy and direction of PAECT business affairs shall be the responsibility of the Board of Directors, elected and functioning under the articles and by-laws of the constitution of the Association.
The officers of the Association shall be the President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Treasurer.
The term of office for the President, Vice President, and Immediate Past President shall be for two years following the Association's annual meeting. The Vice President shall become President automatically. The method of voting is to be determined by the Board of Directors.
Proposals for amending the constitution may originate from the Board of Directors or by a petition of 10 active members of the Association to the Board of Directors. In either case, the Board of Directors shall make available to the membership the reason(s) for the suggested constitutional amendment(s) at least one month prior to the vote on such amendments.
