In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, the Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology (PAECT) Advocacy Committee is making significant strides in advocating for educational technology. This dedicated committee ensures that Pennsylvania remains at the forefront of educational innovation through the integration of technology in our classrooms. 

Mission: Advocacy is The Voice of Ed Tech in PA 

The PAECT Advocacy Committee, led by a designee of the President with Board approval, aims to establish PAECT as the leading advocate for educational technology in Pennsylvania. Here are the core missions of our committee: 

Building Relationships: Establishing strong connections with elected officials, school leaders, education agencies (including K-12 LEAs, private schools, Intermediate Units, and Higher Education institutions), and education associations such as PSEA, PASBO, PASA, PASCD, and others. Building Relationships: Establishing strong connections with elected officials, school leaders, education agencies (including K-12 LEAs, private schools, Intermediate Units, and Higher Education institutions), and education associations such as PSEA, PASBO, PASA, PASCD, and others. 

Legislative Awareness: Keeping the board informed about legislative actions relevant to the Association's goals and membership.
